Folkestone Book Festival 2019 – The Shape of Things to Come: Think Folkestone, Think Future

Inspired by the H G Wells quote: Adapt or perish, now as ever, in nature’s inexorable imperative, The Shape of Things to Come: Think Folkestone, Think Future introduces a theme of programming entitled climate change and the environment – futures.

Physicist and oceanographer, Helen Czerski join us on Saturday 23 November to discuss the urgency of education both in terms of imminent threats to the planet and to convey the wonder and beauty of life on earth.
