Folkestone H G Wells Short Story Competition Writing Workshop 2018

On Saturday 9th June, the H G Wells Short Story Competition have organised a writing workshop in Folkestone for aspiring writers of all ages led by Canterbury based author and lecturer Danny Rhodes.

Danny Rhodes grew up in Grantham, Lincolnshire before moving to Kent in 1994 to attend University in Canterbury.

He had a number of short stories published as well as three novels “Asboville” (a Waterstones Booksellers Paperback of the Year), “Soldier Boy”, and “Fan”.

He continues to write short stories in a variety of genres, particularly Horror. He is a member of the British Fantasy Society and The Horror Writers Association and lectures in creative writing at Canterbury Christ Church University.

Tickets are free for those 21 and under, and £4 plus Eventbrite fees for those older than 21.
